What is Vertical In-Line Centrifugal Pump (IHG/ISG Series)？

The IHG/ISG vertical in line pump is a single-stage single-suction vertical centrifugal pump designed for liquid supply, industrial circulation, and fluid delivery. Functioning as a high-efficiency inline water pump, it easily handles clean water and non-corrosive media with similar fluid properties. Designed as a versatile water suction pump, this series features high efficiency, low noise, and stable hydraulic performance, fully complying with ISO2888 standards for HVAC, building water supply, and general industrial pipelines.

Depending on fluid temperature and chemical compatibility, derivative models of this vertical in line pump are available for hot water systems, chemical processing, and oil transfer. Its compact structure makes it an ideal inline water pump for tight equipment rooms, while its optimized impeller layout functions as an efficient water suction pump across diverse operating pressures.

Main Features

Compact Structure & Small Footprint: Space-saving design of this vertical in line pump minimizes installation footprint and simplifies direct pipeline integration; adding a protective cover allows for outdoor use.
High Concentricity & Long Service Life: The impeller is mounted directly on the motor shaft to ensure inline water pump concentricity, thereby enhancing operational stability and extending service life.
Durable Mechanical Seal: High-quality carbide seal rings are used in this water suction pump to enhance wear resistance and effectively prevent liquid leakage.
Easy Installation & Maintenance: Convenient maintenance without dismantling the piping system. The vertical in line pump inlet and outlet have identical diameters on the same axis for rapid pipeline connection.
Series & Parallel Operation: Can be configured in series or parallel as a heavy-duty inline water pump system to meet custom flow rate and head requirements.
Flexible Directional Alignment:Thewater suction pump inlet and outlet can be adjusted facing the same direction or rotated to 90°, 180°, or 270° to suit specific site layouts.
Adjustable Performance Curve: Trimmed impeller options allow this vertical in line pump to match exact hydraulic requirements without altering the baseline installation footprint.

Operating Conditions

System Pressure Limits: The maximum working pressure of the pump system is 1.6 MPa, i.e., pump inlet pressure + pump head < 1.6 MPa; the pump hydrostatic pressure test is 2.5 MPa. The pump suction inlet pressure should not exceed 0.3 MPa. If the inlet pressure exceeds 0.3 MPa in application, the balance hole of the impeller must be plugged to balance axial force. Please note this during operation.
Applicable Media: The volume content of solid insoluble matter should not exceed 0.1% per unit volume, and the particle size should not exceed 0.2 mm. If the medium contains fine particles, a wear-resistant mechanical seal must be used.
Ambient Conditions: Ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C, and relative humidity does not exceed 95%.

Main Applications

ISG Vertical Centrifugal Pump: Used for conveying clean water and other liquids with physical properties similar to clean water. Suitable for industrial and urban water supply and drainage, high-rise building pressurized water supply, garden sprinkler irrigation, fire boosting, long-distance water delivery, and heating, bathroom cold/hot water circulation boosting and equipment matching. Operating temperature T < 80°C.
IRG (GRG) Vertical Hot Water (High Temperature) Circulation Pump: Suitable for energy, metallurgy, wood processing, chemical industry, textile, paper making, hotels, bathrooms, and guest houses for boiler hot water boosting circulation transportation, as well as urban heating system circulation pumps. IRG operating media temperature does not exceed 120°C; GRG operating media temperature does not exceed 240°C.
IHG Vertical Pipeline Chemical Pump: Used for conveying corrosive liquids without solid particles and with a viscosity similar to water. Suitable for petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power, paper making, food and pharmaceuticals, synthetic fibers, and other sectors. Operating temperature: -20°C~ +120°C.
IHGB Stainless Steel Explosion-Proof Chemical Centrifugal Pump: Suitable for conveying flammable and explosive chemical liquids.
YG Vertical Pipeline Oil Pump: Used for conveying petroleum products such as gasoline, kerosene, and diesel. Conveyed media temperature: -20°C~ +120°C.
ISGD, IRGD, GRGD, IHGD, YGD, IHGBD Vertical Low-Speed Centrifugal Pumps: Suitable for occasions requiring very low ambient noise, air conditioning circulation, etc.
