What is Horizontal End Suction Centrifugal Pump (ISW/IHW Series)？

TheISW, ISWR, ISWH, ISWY, ISWHY, ISWD, ISWRD, ISWHD, ISWYD, and ISWHYD series horizontal centrifugal pumps are designed based on the performance parameters of IS and IR centrifugal pumps, with reference to the ISO2858 standard, and optimized using excellent Chinese hydraulic models. They are an ideal new generation of high-efficiency and energy-saving horizontal pump products.

Features

Compact Structure: This series of pumps has a horizontal structure with integrated motor and pump design, appealing appearance, and small footprint. Compared with ordinary horizontal pumps, the footprint is reduced by 30%. If equipped with an IP54 outdoor motor, no pump house is required and it can be placed outdoors.
Smooth Operation, Low Noise & High Concentricity: The direct connection between the motor and pump simplifies the intermediate structure and enhances operational stability. The impeller has excellent dynamic and static balance, resulting in low vibration and noise during operation, extending bearing service life and improving the operating environment.
High-Quality Mechanical Seal: The shaft seal uses a high-quality mechanical seal, with dynamic and static rings made of carbide, offering wear resistance, low leakage, and long service life.
Advanced Hydraulic Model: Adopts advanced hydraulic models, featuring high efficiency and good performance.
Unique Structure: The bottom side of the pump body is equipped with a water drain hole, and the inlet and outlet flanges are equipped with pressure sampling holes, ensuring proper use and maintenance of the pump.
Convenient Piping Layout: The inlet of this series of horizontal pumps is in the horizontal direction, while the outlet is in the vertical upward direction, facilitating pipeline arrangement.

Operating Conditions

System Pressure Limits: The maximum working pressure of the pump system is 1.6 MPa, i.e., pump inlet pressure + pump head ≤1.6 MPa (When pump system working pressure is higher than 1.6 MPa, it should be specified separately when ordering so that cast steel can be used for flow passage components and connecting parts during manufacturing).
Conveyed Media: Conveyed media is clean water or other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water (When conveyed media contains fine particles, it should be specified separately when ordering so that a wear-resistant mechanical seal can be installed).
Ambient Conditions: Ambient temperature does not exceed 40°C, altitude does not exceed 1000 m, and relative humidity does not exceed 95%.

Applications

ISW Horizontal Centrifugal Pump: Used for conveying clean water and other liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to clean water. Suitable for industrial and urban water supply and drainage, high-rise building pressurized water supply, marine applications, garden sprinkler irrigation, fire boosting, long-distance delivery, HVAC refrigeration circulation, bathroom cold/hot water circulation, and equipment matching. Operating media temperature does not exceed 85°C.
ISWR Horizontal Hot Water Circulation Pump: Suitable for energy, metallurgy, wood processing, chemical industry, textile, paper making, restaurants, bathrooms, hotels, boiler hot water boosting circulation, and urban residential heating circulation systems. Operating temperature does not exceed 120°C.
ISWH Horizontal Chemical Centrifugal Pump: Suitable for petroleum, chemical, metallurgy, power, paper making, food, pharmaceutical, and synthetic fiber industries to convey corrosive liquids. Operating temperature: -20°C to 105°C.
ISWY Horizontal Explosion-Proof Oil Pump: Suitable for petroleum, light textile, chemical, machinery, and other industries to convey flammable and explosive liquids. Conveyed media temperature does not exceed 120°C.
ISWHY Horizontal Stainless Steel Explosion-Proof Chemical Centrifugal Pump: Suitable for conveying flammable and explosive chemical liquids.
ISWD, ISWRD, ISWHD, ISWYD, ISWHYD Horizontal Low-Speed Centrifugal Pumps: Suitable for occasions with higher requirements for ambient noise, especially for chilled water/cooling water circulation and terminal boosting in air conditioning systems.
